Data is utilized for accessing unified campus services, connecting to the official SiberID wireless network, verifying access rights, and recording security audits.
3. Credential Security and Storage
The system never stores account passwords in plain text and protects them using robust one way cryptographic hashing.
4. Institutional Google Account Integration
Synchronization with institutional Google accounts is used solely to verify ownership of the official university email address without accessing personal user files or documents.
5. Connection to Registered Campus Services
Profile information is only shared with registered official campus applications after user confirmation on the authorization screen. User data is never sold to outside parties.
6. User Control and Log Retention
Users can review authentication history in the Activities menu and manage network passwords independently. Activity logs are preserved periodically for security review purposes.
